Water sports are definitely the strong point of our city. From the sea to canals, lakes and rivers there are many possibilities to practise different disciplines of water sports, which enhance the opportunities available to tourists.

Boating and sailing enthusiasts find in Cervia a tourist harbour capable of holding 350 boats, and there are three nautical clubs which can provide assistance and dock spaces and dry dock storage for catamarans and all types of boats.

The aquatic possibilities offered continue with schools of sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, catamaraning, swimming, canoeing and water aerobics.

At the sea today one can also try kite surfing, which is a way of windsurfing using a kite instead of a sail; and wakeboarding which is water skiing on a board similar to a skateboard.

With one of the one, two or three- person canoes available from the ‘Club Canoe Kayak Cervia’ you can canoe your way through the middle of the pinewood arriving at the saltpans or else oar your way down the Savio river and arrive at the sea.
