Natural Park, an oasis of green

The Cervia Natural Park, 27 hectares of pine forest, a stone's throw from Milano Marittima. An unspoilt place for a completely relaxing break, in contact with nature and animals.

Cervia Natural Park - Ph. Giulia Maioli

The Natural Park is the ideal place where you can spend hours of absolute tranquillity and re-discover forgotten fragrances and sounds, coming into touch with nature again.

It is not just a simple green park, but a real jewel in the heart of Milano Marittima.

A green lung where you can:

  • get to know many animals up close, especially farm animals
  • stroll along the paths and go jogging
  • have fun among the branches of the pines along the Cervia Adventure trail
  • enjoy a quiet picnic in the open air
  • relax in the shade of the pines to read a book
  • sip a coffee in the company of swallows.

The fragrance of herbs and undergrowth

The most common tree inside the park is the Domestic pinetree (Pinus pinea) with its typical "umbrella-shaped" foliage, different from the other sort present here, the Maritime pinetree (Pinus pinaster), which is rather "pyramid-shaped". Other trees present in good numbers are the oaks, such as the downy oak (Quercus pubescens) and the oak (Quercus petraea).

The underbrush is rich with bushes like brambles (Rubus ulmifolius), hawthornes (Crataegus monogyna), wild olives (Hippophae ramnoides), privets, honeysuckles (Lonicera caprifolium) and barberry (Berberis vulgaris).
The presence of small orchids cheers up the soil.

There is a botanical trail which shows various native essences of the Cervia pinewood.

In the Old Farm

A fascinating close encounter with domestic animals in a fenced-in area located across the canal.

With the assistance of experienced staff, children will be able to interact and look after the farm animals in complete safety without disturbing the animals themselves.
