Polpette di baccalà (cod)

Ingredients


To serve 4:

  • 400 gr. of cod
  • 400 gr. Of Boiled potatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • Flour
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 rubbed nutmeg

 

Method

Remove the skin and the bone of the cod. Cut the fish into pieces and put him into boiled water. Leave it to drain.
Mash the potatoes and put them into a pot. Put the cod into a mixer and mix it up with the potatoes. Add the egg, salt, pepper and the nutmeg. Form out of the pap small balls and bread them. After this put the small balls to the slapped egg with a bit of salt and than mix it with the breadcrumbs. Fry the small balls in boiled oil until brown, leave it to drain and serve the little balls immediately.
