38th edition Cervia Garden City
For several years now, May sees the beginning of the preparations for the most important and fascinating “Open-air flower exhibition” organised in Italy by expert landscape architects from more than 50 cities in Italy and abroad. The original gardens and flower compositions set up in several corners of the City can be seen from the end of May to the end of September.

| Open-air flower exhibition The original gardens and flower compositions will be maintained throughout the summer by the Maintenance Service for green areas and pinewoods of the Municipality of Cervia. | ||

In 2008 Cervia "Garden city" gained the gold medal representing Italy at the prestigious European Flower Contest Entente Florale Europe organised by the “Association Européenne du Fleurissement et du Paysage" (A.E.F.P.), which awards a prize for the culture of landscape and green areas and environmental awareness in Europe.
