Callido Organ - Suffragio Church
The Organ by Callido can meritoriously be considered as one of the worthiest artistic pieces in the whole territory.
It is inside the small, impressive church called Suffragio in Cervia's historical centre, and it is currently used for organ music concerts, after having been totally, carefully restored.
This instrument was commissioned by the town community in 1788 and was a gift from a rich fellow-citizen; the maker was Callido from Venice, from an organ-maker family, the same artist who also realized the three organs in San Marco's Basilica in Venice.
