Ravenna Festival. The Trebbo in music 2.2 - Dedicated to the moonlight
The XXXIII edition of the Ravenna Festival brings a series of shows, music and culture to the Arena dello Stadio dei Pini in Milano Marittima.
An event inspired by the Trebbo
Saturday 18th June
Dedicated to the moonlight
The moon has always exerted a great fascination on man: since ancient times our pale night star has seemed both near and far. Thus, poets, writers and musicians have been inspired by it to describe, imagine and sing it. So, paraphrasing the futurist motto - the scandalous "let's kill the moonlight" - one of the most popular faces of Italian culture, Corrado Augias, reviews some of the most touching poetic pieces, from Leopardi to Calvino, up to the many references that take us back to other cultures, to Japanese literature and beyond. In an almost "didactic" path, which is completed by music, with pieces that are sometimes famous, such as pages by Beethoven, Debussy or Bellini, entrusted to Aurelio Canonici's mastery as a pianist and divulger.
