Villa Maiolatesi

Villa Maiolatesi

This is one of the 1930s seaside villas in Milano Marittima

Villa Maiolatesi

Major Umberto Maiolatesi's villa is shown here in its original appearance, with the high tower covered in frescoes.

We know from information found in the archives that Major Maiolatesi changed the appearance of his villa several times over the course of time.

The project submitted by the architect Alberto Lugaresi in 1931 does not include the turret or the large terrace covering the entrance.

In 1932 we find a request to build a garage on the villa's property and some aesthetic changes that included the enlargement of some areas.
In 1933 the request for the construction of the turret and the portico above the entrance was approved, as we can still see today.
