Adeodato Ressi (1768-1822)
Hero of our Risorgimento (the revolutionary movement of intellectuals and people from lower class against the strangers' domination in the 19th century), lecturer and then rector of the university of Pavia, author of important works on economics and then the victim, together with many other patriots, of the Austrian reaction which lead to the death of the prisoners of San Michele di Murano.
