Salt Pan by boat, a tour to the salty basins
Guided excursion by electric boat in the saltpan surrounding canal to reach the production basins.
From the Cervia Saltpan Visitor Centre we set off in the electric boat.
Moving silently on the water we arrive at the production basins, where we disembark at a jetty and continue with a walk along the banks to see the heart of the salt pan.
To reach this marvellous place, we will have to board the boat and lower ourselves for a few moments to pass under a small brick bridge.
During this experience, we will immerse ourselves in incredible views of water and sky and discover the origin of the famous Sweet Salt of Cervia.
The saltpan is the southernmost area of the Po Delta Park, a true paradise for birdwatchers!

A few curiosities
This is a very simple boat with wooden benches that can carry about 20 people. It glides silently over the canals surrounding the saltpab, where the water is shallow so there is no seasickness
Depth of water in the canal minimum 1.5 m, maximum 1.8 / 2 m; depth of water in the Salina pools minimum 5 cm, maximum 30 cm
