Manganelli was born in the province of Verbania in 1965.
Raised in Mergozzo, near the lake of the same name, he now lives on the island of Gran Canaria (Spain) while spending the summer months in Romagna. These places deeply inspire Manganelli's works, which are exhibited in Italy and abroad.
His passion for the figurative arts, cultivated since childhood, was put to good use in adulthood thanks to his attendance at Maestro Paco Navarro's Aterlier in Las Palma (Gran Canaria) where he specialised in the spatula painting technique.
