The passions of collectors: from Bertelli to Cattelan

Works from private collections from the second half of the 19th century to the present day

Cervia - The passions of collectors, Jenkis

Le passioni dei collezionisti, manifestoThe exhibition offers works that come from the many collections that have sprung up in the Emilia-Romagna region over the last century and that are very different examples of taste, reasons and passions.

If in the exhibition "Four Galleries for a Century of Art" held two years ago, a significant artistic cross-section of the 20th century was offered overall through the endowments of the selected galleries, with the presence of most of the best-known artists, similarly for this exhibition a number of different types of private collections have been identified so as to cover a chronological span extending from the second half of the 19th century to the present day with a targeted choice of works.

Works by widely historicised artists such as Luigi Bertelli, Carlo Corsi, Mario de Maria, Norma Mascellani, Ilario Rossi, Bruno Saetti, Giorgio Morandi, Massimo Campigli, Sergio Romiti, Pompilio Mandelli, Sergio Vacchi, Piero Gilardi, Athos Ongaro, Concetto Pozzati, Aldo Mondino, Paul Jankis, Enrico Baj, Giulio Paolini, Claudio Cintoli, Janis Kounellis, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Piero Guccione, Ben Lingstrom, Piero Dorazio, Achille Perilli, Hans Hartung, Joe Tilson, Marina Abramovic, Alighiero Boetti, Luigi Ontani, Hermann Nitsch, Robert Rauschenberg, Maurizio Cattelan, etc.
