On the weekend dedicated to the world's best-known American triathlon circuit, the middle-distance triathlon competition returns to Cervia.
Featuring the best of Emilia-Romagna’s natural scenery, the course includes a 1.9km swim course from the central beach of Cervia followed by a 90km bike course winding through the charming countryside of Romagna, the beautiful streets of Forlimpopoli and Bertinoro – the “Balcony of Romagna” – and the famous vineyards of Sangiovese.
The race concludes with a 21.1-kilometre run that takes in the most characteristic spots in Cervia and Milano Marittima.

- SWIM, 1,900 metres
- BIKE, 90 km
- RUN, 21.10 km over three laps
The one-loop 1.9 km (1.2 mile) swim course starts on the beach of Cervia. Athletes enter the Adriatic Sea and face one turn to the left before turning back and swimming parallel to the shore to complete the course with two more right turns.
The one-loop 90 km (56 mile) bike course starts on the promenade of Cervia and leads through the countryside of Romagna for one lap. Be sure to take a moment and marvel at the pink flamingos in the picturesque Natural Park of Salt Pans.
The three-loop 21.1 km (13.1 mile) run course is flat offers beautiful views of Cervia and Milano Marittima. Athletes will pass the center of Cervia and run by the city's historic and iconic salt warehouse before making their way to the finish line.
