The opening event of the IRONMAN Emilia-Romagna long weekend is back.
A 5 km non-competitive night-time run, serving as a prelude to the official races, which will fill the town centre with energy.
At dusk, the race starts from Cervia beach.
After a few hundred metres, the route winds its way into the heart of the town through the historic centre.
The Cervia canal, with its characteristic Borgo Marina, the Tower of San Michele and the Magazzini del Sale – the buildings once used for storing salt – will provide the perfect backdrop for a moonlit run.
The 5 km route starts and finishes at Fantini Club 182, Lungomare Grazia Deledda.
