The simple doughnut, sprinkled with granulated sugar, is a typical baked sweet that can be cut into slices or round loaves.
Its preparation is very simple, based on eggs, flour, butter, sugar and dipping a slice into a glass of wine, Albana or Sangiovese, remains an ancient pleasure.

Ingredients

  • Flour 1Kg
  • sugar 500 g.
  • 2 papers of yeast for cakes
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 grated lemon peel
  • butter 250g
  • milk

 

Method

Mix all the ingredients so as to make a soft dough.
Cut it in three rolls. Sprinkle with sugar and cook them in the oven for about 45 minutes.
