A singing competition for emerging performers and singer-songwriters of all ages.
The twelfth edition of the ‘Punta alle stelle’ singing competition is back.
The aim is to showcase and promote talent from the Emilia-Romagna region and beyond through a contest, giving visibility to emerging singers, singer-songwriters, vocal groups and bands.
Following three days of auditions, the final will take place in Cervia on Friday 3rd July.
There are three categories in the competition:
- Baby (6–12 years)
- Under 21 (13 to 20 years)
- Big (21 and over)
A panel of expert judges will assess the competing artists.

The artistic project
Punta alle Stelle is not simply a singing competition but, first and foremost, an artistic project now in its twelfth edition. It was created with the specific aim of providing opportunities and visibility during the summer to emerging singers, singer-songwriters, vocal groups and bands from Emilia-Romagna and other regions of Italy.
The project is developed thanks to the active collaboration of professionals from the music industry: vocal coaches, musicians and record producers.
The aim of the founder and artistic director, Ruggero Ricci (singer-songwriter and vocal coach), is to select new voices each year and provide them with practical tools to launch and foster an artistic career.
Prizes for the winners
As well as performing at the next edition of the M.E.I. (Faenza Independent Labels Meeting), the winners will have the opportunity to take part in a summer tour of various venues across Italy to promote their music.
The results speak for themselves and are reflected in the most well-known talent shows and television programmes, where we find some of the winners from recent editions: The Voice Kids, Zecchino D’oro, Amici, X-Factor and Sanremo Giovani.
