Around the world in 80 Kites
The exhibition is a collateral event of ARTEVENTO 2023 that develops in a historical and anthropological key what the International Kite Festival represents.
It is the second of the exhibitions of the Kite Museum, a project as historic as the festival. Since 1981, the Museum has been enriched with artefacts from the countries that contributed most to the birth and development of the art of wind. In addition to the oldest specimens, made of exclusively natural materials, the exhibition also presents a selection of contemporary artists, who use the same materials and techniques from the ancient Orient. The kite has carried the message of a sustainable lifestyle for over 2500 years.
