Tuesday 16th June, 8 p.m., comes the Torta della Zitella. Local bakeries join forces to make a special Torta Zitella (old maid's cake).
On the Riviera dei Pini, music also takes centre stage with a group of artists from Cervia who never fail to captivate their audiences.

The Spinster's Cake (Torta della Zitella): a unique and original dessert
This is a cake made of almond flour with pine nuts, sponge cake soaked in Alchermes and blackberry jam.
The cake was created by students and professors of the Tonino Guerra Hotelier Institute in Cervia as a traditional cake for the Marriage of the Sea.
