This square has a large quadrangular shape, on which overlooks the Salt Storehouse called Darsena, of 1712.
This is one of the town's latest squares.
A huge, dirt parking has been transformed, in record time, to a paved square , to house the latest monument of the town, the fountain called Il Tappeto Sospeso, The Suspended Carpet, which was created in 1997 for the 300th anniversary of New Cervia's foundation.
During the summer there are temporary exhibitions and performances, but during the Thursday morning market it houses fruit and vegetable stalls.
